About This Hands-On Lab
This two-hour hands-on lab provides students with experience in using Microsoft Hyper-V to create and manage virtual machines and to query virtual information using the WMI provider.
Audience Profile
This lab is intended for IT professionals who would like to become familiar with managing virtual machines using Microsoft Hyper-V. You will begin by exploring the Microsoft Windows Virtualization Management tool and administering virtual machines. You will then work with a running virtual machine. Finally, you will use Windows PowerShell to query virtual machine information using the WMI provider.

•Create and manage virtual machines.
•Query virtual machine information using Microsoft Windows PowerShell.

Exercise 3: Exploring Microsoft Hyper-V Using Windows PowerShell
After completing this module, students will be able to:
•Display Available Microsoft Hyper-V WMI Objects
•Explore Virtualization System Management Service
•Explore a Virtual Machine
