Valley Resource Center's Teen Services

The VRC manages the Children's Volunteer Dental Access Program. All the dental offices in San Lorenzo/Scotts valley (18) are participating. Teens are screened through the CHDP Clinic operated by Westside Health Clinic or are referred to a dentist by VRC in emergency situations. The VRC refers the teen to the participating dentists on a rotating basis, providing reminders when requested and providing follow up and evaluation.

Community teens and adults work together to develop resources to support teens: alcohol/drug free events, Teen Yellow Pages for jobs and education forums.
