Main Street Watsonville, Inc. is a downtown revitalization program organized under the National Trust for Historic Preservations and implemented by the National and California Main Street programs. Our goal is to help revitalize downtown Watsonville through a four step process.

DESIGN
Improving the downtown's image by enhancing its physical appearance- All other elements that convey a visual message about what the downtown is and what it has to offer.

PROMOTION

Marketing the downtown's unique characteristics to shoppers, investors, new businesses, tourists and others. Ongoing effective programs that build positive perceptions of the district.

ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING

Economic restructuring activities include helping existing downtown businesses expand, recruiting new businesses to provide a balanced mix, converting unused space into productive property, and sharpening the competitiveness of downtown merchants.

ORGANIZATION

Many individuals and organizations have an important stake in the economic and cultural viability of the district. Organization is bringing these stakesholders to work together.
